I am so thankful for finding Aqua Proof.  In fact, every day it rains now I thank God for them and the work they performed.

My drainage situation was about as severe as it could possibly get.  We bought our dream home back in November of 1992.  Beautiful yard, basement everything a young family could possibly want.  This was before homeowners had to divulge any water issues a house has.

Our nightmare started three months after moving in.  That January it rained.  We woke up to find a huge amount of water in our basement. My husband had to go to work.  I spent the next few days cleaning out the water and going out in the cold rain to bail the water out of the window wells.  I had to spend the next couple of nights getting up every twenty minutes to go outside and bail.  I was cold and exhausted.  Spring hadn’t even arrived yet!

Spring was hell.  We later from out from our neighbors that there had been water issues with the house ever since it was built.  Previous homeowners tried everything they could to fix the problem.  We did everything we could to fix the problem.  Put in drain tiles, did landscaping, bought pumps for the window wells, etc.  Nothing worked. 

This problem was so severe that I was not able to hold to down a second job for fear I’d have to go home and bail water. I had become glued to the weather channel. Vacations could not be planned unless we knew it would not rain.  I started having anxiety attacks and ended up on anti depressants.  It put a tremendous strain on our marriage.  We ended up divorcing and I bought the house.  But something had to be done so I could get a job.

I contacted four companies.  One wouldn’t even touch the problem.  The other one didn’t seem like they knew what they were doing.  The third one (prominent name in Beavercreek) idea for our situation was so crazy I can’t even explain.  To top it off they wanted a large sum of money and told me I would have to finish the job off and put in grass myself.

That’s when I contacted Aqua Proof.  They are such professional experts.  Danny came out and went over my situation with me.  He explained what needed to be done, what type of piping they would use AND they would finish the job and reseed the grass.  They also had the additional issue of laying the piping between a water sewer line and a gas line.

The guys were so professional and fantastic.  The whole job was done in one day.  And better yet, their pricing is way better than their competitors.  I have not had a problem since they fixed my drainage problem.  Better yet?  I love to hear the sound of rain again.
