Dear Aquaproof,
Just wanted to thank everyone for the great job the did on my basement. It has been raining for the past two days and my basement is dry!
FYI - The following outlines my process and evaulations.
Thanks again,
Kathleen Owen
Problem: Water leaking onto the basement floor from the wall/floor joint in one corner of the basement. I requested three quotes/presentations:
- Everdry - Professional, HIGH PRESSURE sales
Emphasized "questionable" mold test (I saw NO mold)
Very High $$
4 man install over 5 days (I felt this installation was overkill!)
2. J&D Bsmt - Professional, no pressure sales
Medium $$
3. Aquaproof- Professional, but more casual, no pressure sales
Reasonable $$
9 man installation in 1 day! (11hrs)
I like the 1" per 10LF drain pipe pitch--towards the sump pump
After reviewing all three companies' installations, I felt that the Aquaproof installation would produce the best results and be the most economical and convenient.
3/17/08 Installation
All of the installers were careful and considerate when moving/covering my belongings in the basement. They were also courteous and made sure I received the instruction manuals and registration cards for the sump pump and its battery backup. The clean up was much more than I expected.
