Dear Danny:

I just wanted to drop you  a short note to thank you for the work you did at my home earlier this year.

I've lived in the home for 9 years and never had any water problems until the end of last year when we had approximately 20 inches of rain and my furnished basement flooded. Needless to say, I was very upset after coming home from work to find water everywhere and wasn't able to figure out how it was getting in the house. My parents suggested calling you because they were happy with the waterproofing work you did at their home. I was impressed at how quickly you came out (first thing the next morning) to assess the situation, especially since you were so busy due to the number of other basements that flooded because of the excessive rain.

You discovered that we had downspouts that were collapsed under the ground and some that needed to be rerouted for better drainage. When you told me the extent of what had to be done, I had imagined the yard having to be completely torn up. However, you were very neat about your work and even reseeded the grass. The areas were hardly noticeable by Spring.
